Rosado said emphatically that he is not involved and today so did the Prime Minister - and he got huffy when the media pressed for answers:
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"I am, let me just answer your question, obviously No our government would never sanction such thing. We would be able to, we were not part of that so no the government did not and would never have sanctioned any such thing on any citizen of this country."
Reporter-
"But did Guatemalan authorities carry out operations on Belizean soil?"
John Briceno, Prime Minister

"Listen right now the police is doing their investigation so I don't think you should be speculating so let's allow the police to do their investigation."
Reporter-
"But sir then what does that say about us in terms of our national security protocol? This man disappeared from in front of a police station and ended up in Guatemala."
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Listen let's stop this situation and allow the police to do their investigation, once they do their investigation then we will know what to do. The abduction of any citizen of this country is a serious one and you know we have had instances where across in Chetumal they have come and grabbed our citizen and we act accordingly. So this case is no different and we will act accordingly and be able to ensure that our citizens can feel safe In our country."
