The Science and Strategy of Fire Fighting in the Forest

When a wild fire erupts in the forest do you call the fire department or forestry? Well, both of them can respond, and it's thanks to training like the one held this week on Wild Land Fire Service and Firefighter training. It teaches these officers to know the science and strategy of battling a forest fire. I visited the Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center this morning to get a closer look at what these firefighter trainees have been learning. Here's that story.
