But following military protocol is only half the battle; finding all the unexploded ordnance is the real challenge.

Over a thousand have been recovered, and there's no telling how many of them are left. The minister says that they just don't know where they are.

"We are always in discussions with the British military. Again those discussions we don't want to be commenting on."

"We feel that there are some more. We are not hiding it we just don't know how much more but we think we have gotten a significant amount and we are always on the lookout because at the end of the day you never know. I think every now and again you get news from Europe where there is always some unexploded ordnance that exists and they have done their best over the past 88+ years to try to clear them up so likewise. There is probably some but we are actively working with the communities because usually they would know where it would be."

"They work along with the BDF. Remember, we put out an announcement: "Please help us to find these; help us to locate it." So it was a community effort with the BDF."
