But while the BDF maintains that it exercises control of Baldy Beacon, how was Penner able to gather and remove all their explosive devices? We asked the Defence Minister about it today.

"My gosh, interesting choice of words, waltz away. I mean, I think whenever people, I think we all know the military always puts out advanced warning, and usually you stay away from this. The military were simply conducting what I don't think anyone would complain about, destroying these explosives."
"I mean, you saw how we lost a life, sadly, because of it. This is part of the overall effort to destroy that. You know, so I'm not sure how anyone would, in a right mind, actually go around there and try to interfere with that work."
