Minister of health Vildo Marin could have a crisis on his hands as the doctors at the KHMH are threatening to cancel their clinics next week if he doesn't meet their demands. The doctors complain that they have been suffering with chronic supply shortages for months. Repeated pleas to both the board of directors and the central medical stores office have proved fruitless.
So now the doctors have demanded a meeting with the minister of health which has been set for Thursday. In their letter to the minister, the medical staffers made it clear that they cannot continue under the present conditions and would cancel clinics. It is under those ominous auspices that Thursday's meeting will now proceed.
