And - while we wait on the most updated numbers from today's testing, we can confirm that it will include one more death: it occurred at 6:00 am this morning.
The victim is 49 year old Sylvia Foreman, a BDF soldier from Mahogany Heights. The mother of 6 - who had multiple pre-existing conditions - had been feeling ill from last week - but when she went to the clinic - her sister says they sent her home saying she just had a regular flu.
She had to be hospitalised at the western Regional on Monday - and this morning, she died quite suddenly from COVID 19.
This evening we spoke via phone to her sister Melissa Major who told us that it has been all so unexpected:
Jules Vasquez, reporter
"I saw your sister posted last week that she wasn't feeling well. She was hospitalized Monday and went to downhill so quickly. What happened?"
Melissa Major, Sister of Deceased
"I really and truly didn't know what happen, because I spoke to my sister everyday and I don't know exactly what happened, I can't tell you what happened. All I know that yesterday when I called - first they say that on Monday they took a Covid test, she is being treated as a Covid patient. They say the test want good or something like that and they had to redo the test. They redid the test and we were waiting on the result. Yesterday when I called, they say that her sugar was high and her blood pressure was low. After that, I called back again, after 8pm last night - it was the same. Everything else was good, they were waiting on the test to come in to see if it's positive or negative. That's all, until this morning when we got the call that she passed away after 6am."

Jules Vasquez, reporter
"Did she had preexisting conditions that you all know of?"
Melissa Major, Sister of Deceased
"She was diabetic and hypertensive patient and she had asthma. She went already to the clinic. Last week Saturday they gave her a doctor paper, the sent her home that it was just a common flu. Then after that she went back again."
Jules Vasquez, reporter
"She may have infected members of her family."
Melissa Major, Sister of Deceased
"Yes, I have already given those information to the hospital and they will be doing contact tracing."
Jules Vasquez, reporter
"Do you guys have any idea how she contracted this? Did she contracted it at work, in the community?"
Melissa Major, Sister of Deceased
"She have Covid until she have already passed away. The test came in back after she passed away. When we went there we found out that she was Covid positive."
Due to the fact that she died from COVID, Foreman has to be buried tomorrow.
She was the mother of 6 and was raising one grandchild.
She was a 28 year veteran of the BDF.
As we told you yesterday, the BDF is seeing a major spike in cases with 65 confirmed positive cases - 39 alone from the military installation in Orange Walk.
In total, 142 soldiers are Quarantined or self isolated at home.
