The numbers released last night showed 67 new positives, out of 260 tests, a 26% positivity rate.
And, the hotspots are Orange Walk and now, the Belize District.
The largest numbers again come from the Orange Walk District where 38 cases were identified: 21 from the Town; 4 from August Pine Ridge; 1 from Carmelita Village; 1 from Indian Church; 3 from San Jose Palmar; 1 from Yo Creek; 1 from San Luis; 4 from Trial Farm;1 from San Jose; and 1 from Xaibe, Corozal.

The Ministry of Health says areas of concern are the ongoing spike in Orange Walk, the increasing number of positive patients in Belize City, the outbreak at the Belize Central Prison, and reports that there may be positive cases within the Belize Coast Guard. They expect to have further details about the Coast Guard matter over the weekend.
