And while Dr. Manzanero is on the road to recovery, one of his fellow public service colleagues died from complications due to COVID-19 on Boxing Day, December 26th.

On Sunday, the Government released a statement lamenting the passing of Renie Moh, the Exhibit Manager for the National Forensic Science Service.

Moh was highly regarded for his professionalism during his tenure and the NFSS notes that he served in this post with distinction for over 10 years.

The Government press release says, quote, "His professionalism was defined by his eye for detail, his integrity and reliability, and his devoted service to his country. Mr. Moh was a champion for evidence security, and his legacy will persist at the National Forensic Science Service long into the future.

Reports say two of Moh's relatives also died from COVID 19.
