Belize’s Biggest Supermarket Closed By COVID

And the raging Pandemic has even shut down Belize's oldest and largest department store, with reports tonight being that 14 employees at the northern highway Brodies Branch tested positive for COVID-19.

It's a situation that prompted the Superstore to close its doors for sanitization.

We contacted managers at the store for comment but, they referred us to this release which says, quote: "Following guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Wellness to protect the health and well-being of employees, customers, and the communities."

Brodies' northern highway location will reopen on Friday, September 17th.
