Who will be the new CEO at the Ministry of Health and Wellness? Last week, the Prime Minister announced that Dra. Deysi Mendez would be moving on after irreconcilable personality differences disrupted the working relationship with her Minister, Michel Chebat.
Tonight, reports say that Dra Mendez is moving unto the NHI unit at the Social Security Board and she is to be replaced at the Ministry of Health by another Dra, Lesbia Guerra.
There is no confirmation of the report - but Guerra was last the CEO at the Ministry of Natural Resources - where she did not ask - nor was she asked to renew her contract. Best reports say that stint did not end on a grace note.
We'll see if she indeed takes up the hot seat at the Ministry of Health. Dra Mendez says she is still CEO until December 19th.
