Another day, another 600 COVID cases…
Well, actually there are 579 new confirmed cases to report tonight.
268 of them are from the Belize District, 132 from the Cayo District and 71 from the Orange Walk District.
This takes our active cases up to 3,707 – and if this trend of five to six hundred new daily cases continues, meaning that by tomorrow our active cases may be in the four-thousand range.
But the good news is that there are still no deaths to report. However, there are 11 hospitalizations and like yesterday, five are unvaxxed, one partially vaxxed and one fully vaxxed.
One more patient has entered into the ICU, making it 4 admissions now – two unvaxxed, one partially, and one fully vaxxed.
The daily positivity rate has also dropped to 18.8% and the death toll remains at 605.
