On Wednesday's newscast, we told you about the 172 workers and investors ins the Corozal Free Zone who tested positive for COVID-19.
As viewers are aware, the country's COVID numbers spiked significantly this week, and so, the Free Zone's management asked the Ministry of Health and Wellness to conduct bulk testing on the persons who have access. Almost a thousand workers were tested on Wednesday, and today, the Ministry went back to follow up with another round of bulk testing.
This evening, our colleagues from CTV3 News got a chance to speak with the Free Zone's CEO about the new patients who were detected. Here's what he had to say about the 42 additional persons who tested positive:
