And the first suicide we told you about was 32-year-old Adrian Flores. As we reported, Flores was on the run after he allegedly stabbed his ex girlfriend and injured his child on Wednesday night. Thursday morning, his body was found in Hopkins.

And though his was the third suicide in a month in the south, he's also the third soldier to take his own life in less than a year. Today, the Minister of National Defense said they're working on increasing mental health resources within the force.

Florencio Marin Jr., Minister of Defense
"That is a real tragic situation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the soldier and family of the lady and the child. From what we understand so far, it has to do with domestic abuse and as you know we've had recently some incidences of suicide as well. We won't be able to eradicate all of that, but we are aggressively pursuing to put a mental health program in the military that would at least stave off some of these incidences."
