Embattled track star Marion Jones will be going to Athens next month to compete in the Olympic games next month after all. Last night Marion proved why she probably still is one of the fastest women in the world securing a spot on the U.S. track team and literally jumped into the history books with a spectacular performance at the long jump finals. How far did Marion jump? Well 23.4 feet or 7.11 meters which was her personal best in six years and the second best leap in the world this year. Marion competes in Athens next month in the long jump but first she has her sights set on the 200-meter finals on Sunday.
