Mexican President Vicente Fox arrives in Belize tomorrow at 9:45 am aboard his private jet for a two day state visit.

He will be transported via helicopter directly to Belmopan for a welcome ceremony. From there he will move over to the Belize House and the New Administration Building where he will meet with the Governor General and the Prime Minister. That will be followed by an early noon press conference at the George Price Center, and later at 3:00 pm, a special joint session of both Houses of the National Assembly. President Fox will make a 10 minute address to the House.

Now the question is, will the Opposition be in place to hear that address. As we've reported, the Opposition is protesting the actions of the Speaker, and may choose to boycott future sitting. Well, this evening the party met to decide whether it will attend the ceremonial session, and at newstime that meeting had not concluded.
