Prime Minister Said Musa is tonight in London along with other Caribbean leaders for a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Discussions in London focus on the transitional arrangements for the region's sugar and banana producers in the face of the EU's reduction in the preferential prices for those products. The Prime Minister left London today and headed Rome for a meeting with the Food and Agricultural Organization. His trip ends in Malta where he will attend a conference of heads of government of the commonwealth, which is being held under the theme networking for development.
