Celebrating Taiwan

If you've ever studied or read about Taiwan you might know that today is the country's National Day, its 111th to be exact.

And to celebrate, the Embassy of Taiwan in Belize chose to hold a Taiwan Expo, an exploration of trade opportunities between our two countries and an opportunity for Belizeans to learn more about the Taiwanese products that could be brought to the Belizean market very soon.

7News stopped by the Expo's opening ceremony this evening where we got a chance to speak with the Ambassador, his project manager, and a businesswoman who brought her product halfway across the world. Here is that story.
