The Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Chris Coye led a delegation to Saudi Arabia for high-level talks from March 6th of 9th.

Coye was accompanied by Pierre Bou Nahra, who we today learned is the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Trade and Investment to the Gulf States, including Saudi Arabia.

They were hosted by the Saudi Fund for Development which finances projects in developing countries on a concessionary basis. According to a release, the minister discussed various priority public sector investment projects in health, energy, and infrastructure.

Coye and his team also met with the Assistant Minister of Finance for Macro Fiscal Policies and International Relations, and other representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Sector Development of the Ministry of Investment.

Among the topics of discussion were opportunities for private sector investment and trade between the two countries, particularly, in areas of tourism, agriculture, and energy.
