Briceno Meets Caribbean States In Guatemala

Prime Minister John Briceno is at the ninth summit of Association of Caribbean States in Antigua, Guatemala.

In his remarks to the gathering, PM Briceno encouraged the ACS "to remain relevant and viable" amidst global challenges and to refocus on the organization's roots? the sustainable development of the Caribbean Sea.

Prime Minister Briceno also held bilateral meetings with the Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei.

Belize's delegation included the Chief Executive Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister Narda Garcia and Jose Alpuche, the Ambassador of Belize to Guatemala.

The Association of Caribbean States is an association of nations centred in the Caribbean Basin of which Guatemala is a member.
