"You would have known that a couple weeks ago, the cruise tourism policy was adopted by Cabinet. There was a press briefing on that, if I am not mistaken, and we're still working on the national ports policy, which will also encompass cruise tourism. The national ports policy will not only be sector oriented but it will govern the entire sector nationally and would help to, especially for investors, it would help to set goal posts for them so that they can understand where Belize intends to go with our ports, with our logistics, with all of our maritime sector, we're still working on it, we're hoping to get that to Cabinet within the next couple months."
