And the man who inaugurated the building left the country today. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali's state visit has come to an end as the Guyanese president departed from the PGIA this afternoon. He and his delegation joined Prime Minister and other senior members of the Government of Belize yesterday for courtesy visits to four locations in the Cayo District. The first stop was Santander Sugar Limited in the Cayo District, a key location where the Caribbean Sugar Refinery, a flagship Belize/Guyana initiative, is being constructed. Both leaders participated in the ceremonial groundbreaking.
