The 50th CARICOM Heads of Government meeting in St. Kitts and Nevis will conclude tomorrow with the closing press conference scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Today, there was a leader's retreat on the island of Nevis where the leaders were able to speak openly about issues confronting the region.
Earlier in the week, Belize's Prime Minister Briceno met with US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio and he said it was constructive. He discussed the challenges of regional security pertaining to Belize and its vulnerability in sharing borders with Mexico, and the shared concerns over the cartel influence.
