CARICOM Will Assist With Cuba's Humanitarian Crisis

And the woeful state of Cuba was much discussed at this week's CARICOM Heads of Government meeting. Though Cuba is not a member state - it is a Caribbean nation - and one which has generously assisted nations across the region.

Today at the end of the meeting, the heads of government put out a joint statement on Cuba. It says, quote, "All parties recognised that there should be efforts to address the growing humanitarian crisis."
