The drivers say they will not drive their buses until they are repaired. And while they do so those being affected are the commuters. We spoke to a few of them who are simply irate at the situation as it has developed.

Commuter #1,
"I am heading to Silk Grass. I don't know what went on. I went in and they said the bus won't be running so I will wait and see if another bus will be coming."

Alfonso Noble,
How will you get down to Silk Grass?

Commuter #1,
"I will catch a taxi right now. I don't know what is going on with this bus company so I can't say anything about that."

Commuter #2,
"I am going to Placencia, almost nine miles from Placencia and I came way from Belize City and now I got stranded here and can't go. What will I do? I don't know what I will do yet."

Alfonso Noble,
Does this make you upset?

Commuter #2,
"Of course this makes me upset because I needed to reach there tonight. They should have told people there would be no buses or put it over the air that there would be no buses and then everybody would have known not to come to the terminal and depend on the buses to go where they want to go. This company is 'lone [Expletive.]"

Alfonso Noble,
Will you catch a cab?

Commuter #2,
"Catch a cab? Where will I get the money? Only if I give away myself and nobody would want me because I am already old."

We were unable to contact the receivership for comment this afternoon. In the interim James Buses continue to operate out of Dangriga.
