A home was destroyed by fire in Caye Caulker this afternoon. At around 1:15 there was an explosion inside a trailer home that is located on the south eastern end of the island. The house which is occupied by Tracy Meighan and her two children was quickly engulfed by flames and despite efforts by the residents in the area as well as the Fire Department the entire structure was completely destroyed. Reports from the island suggest that Meighan was not at home at the time of the incident and she is now left homeless.
