Earlier we showed you the San Pedro Superstore which burned down last night. And while the loss of assets is significant in a dollar amount in that

fire, in terms of real human impact, we’re sure it’s less than the story we’re about to tell you. A Trial Farm family of five is left homeless – and distraught after fire gutted their small home. As the head of the household told us no one was at home. His wife had gone to a political rally – and he went to look for her. When he came back, his home was ablaze. Through tears he told our colleagues at Northern Cable Network that they are devastated.

Fire Victim,
“I was coming from out of town and my wife went to the PUP meeting then I left the bicycles in the bathroom with a friend of mine, then I went to look for her and my kids then they called my brother telling him the house was on fire. But no one was cooking because my wife left at four to my sister’s house. No one was home. My house was set on fire. It could not have caught on fire just like that. I don’t know how this happened. Everything for my children burnt down. I am not used to asking for help but in this situation where I have lost everything if anyone has the heart to help me, please help me, I will accept it with all my heart. I don’t know how to pay back because everything burnt down. I don’t know how the house caught fire.”

Those wanting to help can 607 – 8054.
