NEMO Minister Melvin Hulse's Grand Tour

He is the new Minister of NEMO – the National Emergency Management Organisation and Melvin Hulse today began a countrywide tour. The Minister is visiting hurricane shelters in coastal communities, starting in Corozal. Along with his team from NEMO he will be assessing shelters, focusing particularly on capacity and the availability of facilities such as bathrooms. The hope is that any necessary upgrading will be identified and can be accomplished before the hurricane season begins. Tomorrow he will tour shelters in Belize City. He is accompanied on the tour by the Co-ordinator of NEMO – Col. George Lovell.
