Merlene Bailey Martinez is New Social Security Boss

Merlene Bailey Martinez rose to national prominence when she co-chaired the DFC Commission of Inquiry and today was her first day of work in another high profile job, the CEO of the Social Security Board. The Board of Directors picked Bailey Martinez from four applicants who applied for the job. Her contract is for 5 years. Bailey-Martinez is a former assistant accountant general and assistant commissioner of income tax.
