Lois Young Barrow has confirmed to 7NEWS that she has agreed to take the job as Belize’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and head of the mission in New York. Young-Barrow says she has accepted an offer from the government of Belize and expects to start in January of 2009 – at which time she will become resident ambassador.
