Today, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Border Security and the Ministry of Economic Development took a tour of the Belize Defense Forces Price Barracks Headquarters in Ladyville.
They were there to inspect just how serious the disrepair of the compound's 200 buildings has gotten. That's because the government wants to begin renovating some of those facilities under the Belize Integral Security Program. Back in 2015, the Government and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) signed a loan agreement for 30 million US dollars.
