There was a fire in Belize City this afternoon. It happened at a two storey structure - made of wood and zinc on Green Street in that area.
The house - which was home to 5 - caught on fire this afternoon. We spoke to the homeowner who had lived there for over 20 years. He was at work a half mile away when they saw the fire in the distance.

"You were at your employer's house and what did he tell you."
Home Owner
"He said that there was a fire at Belama Phase 4, your house. and I told him it's not my house. They came for me and told me that my house is on fire."
Reporter
"How will you start again?"
Home Owner
"I will start all over again. It just happened."
Reporter
"Nobody is hurt."
Home Owner
"Nobody got hurt."
Pennill says he believes the home was insured.
