And one of those re-deployed units is the Special Patrol Unit, or the SPU as they are known. ASP Aaron Gamboa has been heading that unit for years now - impervious it seems to transfer - even as he nears retirement.

Jules Vasquez
"Is it too many years sir? Does he continue to enjoy this post because you and he dah friend and might have family relationship."
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"You have been the head of Channel 7 for a number of years. What is different? You had a reporter Indira Craig, I think she is still there. She has been the reporter for many years, she is not a family member of yours, but she was there, because she was effective. If you have something that is working, why are you going to change it. Mr. Gamboa, regardless of what anybody would want to say about him, he is an effective commander. You give him a task and he is going to run with it. He is going to make sure he does his best so that we can achieve the desired results at the end."
