The press also asked Minister Musa if he consulted the banks and the financial sector about the marijuana industry - whose earnings cannot be banked - because of the possibility of contamination leading to de-risking - meaning the loss of correspondent banking relationships.

He gave a kind of boilerplate answer - saying unbanked money - aka "cash money" isn't that big a deal:

Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industry
"The minister of economic development has consulted, not just local bankers, but international bankers as well on this particular issue. Ofcourse with everything there is concern, because it's a cash industry, like the cattle industry which is a cash-based industry right now. Even the hemp industry that the Hon. Dean Barrow past in 2017 is also a cash industry currently operating in our country and so there is always concern when you have a cash industry, so you have to put regulations in place to ensure that you limit whatever danger or anything like that would arise."
