And while it gave her cold seed, it put a chill into many carnival lovers - who may now be thinking twice about going out there on Saturday.
Today we asked the commissioner about security provisions for Saturday:
Jules Vasquez
"This is one night a year for a few hours and then we get this disruption which really throws a damper in the entire spirit of the carnival. What would you say about that?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Certainly, its a cause for concern. I have seen some of the information on social media people saying that they are not going to carnival and these sort of things. But I want to assure the public that the police will be in full readiness and in full force which is this coming Saturday to ensure the safety of all those persons who will either participate or be on-lookers."
And, of course, 7News will be out there on Saturday bringing the carnival live into your homes in HD.
Also, later on in this newscast Brandon Usher will show us what night 2 was like at the Carnival Mas Camps.
