Relief for Hurricane Lisa continues to trickle in.

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration delivered $2 million Belize dollars in emergency and natural disaster assistance as a relief donation.

The funds are earmarked for the purchase of food, medicines, specialized medical care, materials required for shelters and recovery or repair of infrastructure.

A release from the bank today addressed the donation calling it a gesture of solidarity with the nation of Belize. The Prime Minister addressed it this morning:

CABEI's monetary donation joins material donations made in the past few days by the Embassies of the U.S.A and Japan.
