No Movement In Bus Situation

Two days after the meeting between the Belize Bus Association and the Minister of Transport, no press release has yet to be issued by the ministry. The BBA had demanded that it be issued on Wednesday evening, but on this week's Uncut, they said they were extending that deadline to Thursday. Well, on Thursday night, president Thomas Shaw said that it wasn't over as yet - meaning the bus strike was still not off the table.

Well, Friday has come and gone and things have been relatively calm. Whether or not the bus association will strike is still unknown, but we are following developments closely.
