No one was hurt in San Pedro Town last night when a small wooden structure caught on fire. Around 11:50, patrons at a nearby bar saw fire and smoke streaming out of a yard on Seagrape Drive. They called the Fire Department which was able to extinguish the blaze quickly - even though the entire structure was destroyed. And, due to close living quarters, adjacent structures in the same yard also received fire damage. In fact, the other buildings were only a few feet away, so it could have been another major fire on the island - were it not for the quick, effective response of the fire team.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
