Turning now to the always topical issue of road traffic safety. Government has proposed strict new regulations to make the roads safer for motorcycle drivers. But most of its focusses on the motorcycles - and not on the vehicles. According to the country's largest insurance company, those vehicles cause most of the accidents. CEO Chester disagrees. Here are both sides of that argument:
Andrew Roe, Managing Director, RF&G Insurance
"A lot of the blame goes to the motorcycle driver. They are not without blame, there are a lot of reckless motorcyclists on this road. Or on our roads. But the reality is, more often than not it is actually the motor vehicle that is responsible for the accident."
Chester Williams, CEO - Transport

"The interview given by RF&G is not accurate. From our statistics, it shows that many of the accident that do occur, motorcycle drivers were at fault. We also have a huge number of accidents that are motorcycle and motorcycle, not motorcycle and vehicles. We have another amount where motorcycle riders lose control and run off the road. So looking at the accidents holistically I would say is motorcycle drivers being at faul,t then second would be vehicle."
