Last night we told you that the Association of Public Service Senior Managers voted to reel in Acting President and Union Activist Zenaida Moya. As we reported only 12 of the 31 heads of department that make up the APSSM were at the meeting, and only 7 voted to oust her. Still, Moya is unmoved; today she redesigned from the APSSM where she was elected as Vice-President and acting as President. Unfazed by the attempt at restraint, she has re-emerged this time as a member of the PSU council, and still a working member of the Trade Union Congress. Today, PSU President Dylan Reneau who welcomed her into his union, explained the position.

Dylan Reneau, PSU President
"Myself and Miss Moya spoke last night, at length on the phone, and Miss Moya gave me an overview of what transpired yesterday and in fact we discussed her coming over to PSU and she accepted. I think that has been consummated thus far. She is now a member of the Public Service Union of Belize."

Later on, we'll have Reneau response to the subtle threat made to those public workers who would protest tomorrow contained in yesterday's statement from the Minister of Public Service Jose Coye.
