BTL's Communication Workers Union today announced that it has lifted the work to rule and go slow that it instituted in the first week of October. The decision comes after meetings with conciliators from the Ministry of Labour.

According to a Communication Workers Union press release, the decision is meant as a sign of goodwill to engage management in serious dialogue. According to the union, 87% of BTL's workers have signed a petition making it clear they do not accept the share ownership agreement as expressed in the Sunshine Trust presented to them by government.
