In November of 2005, 12 members of the last Good Governance Commission resigned in a huff, and today the government announced the members of a new council. The new council is chaired by Meliton Auil Jr. and has membership of Anglican Bishop Phillip Wright, senior finance advisor Joe Waight, and others.
