The DFC public hearings will continue without the Chairman David Price. They could start next week, but because of scheduling difficulties, a date still has not been finalized.

By our count, there are still 26 witnesses left to testify, 19 of them publicly. Those include Glenn Godfrey, Bob Abou-Nehra, David Courtenay, Arnaldo Pena, David Novelo, Ralph Fonseca and Said Musa. Commissioner Merlene Bailey Martinez said that due to time constraints, that number may have to be abbreviated and some may have to be dealt with in-camera.

She says that with the abbreviated schedule, the hearings will not now be as complete as they had hoped, but she hopes they can bring them to a close before the end of the year.
