Labor Dept. Criticizes BTL for Perriot's Termination

The Ministry of Labour issued a release just a few minutes ago, criticizing BTL for firing Christine Perriot. It says, "the Ministry of Labour finds this latest development to be an act of bad faith on the part of BTL in light of the fact that the Ministry is currently engaged in discussions with the Communication Workers and BTL...Ms. Perriot has been an integral part of these discussions."

It goes on: "The Ministry will fully investigate the matter and do everything to ensure that the rights of Mrs. Perriot...have not been unduly violated."
