The DFC hearings wrapped up exactly two weeks ago but now the question is will it continue? Co-chair Merlene Bailey-Martinez today confirmed to us that the commission hopes to interview Chris Coye and Norman Neal. No decision has been mad eon whether those sessions will be public hearings or in camera.

Neal and Coye both did the legal work on the Novelo's transaction. At the time Coye was working for Glenn Godfrey's law firm. Godfrey testified under oath that his law firm had not been engaged on that transaction and said that Coye was doing work for Neal independently.

Coye has disputed that, saying that at all times, his work on the Novelo's transaction was for and on behalf of Godfrey's law firm.
