PUP vs. DPP

In other political news, the PUP have criticized the Director of Public Prosecutions for his findings in the Zenaida Moya case.

As we’ve reported, the DPP found that Mayor Moya was not the aggressor and could not be charged for the assault of
Vaughan Gill.

The pup’s press release says that the DPP’s finding’s were, “Contrary to the evidence as witnessed by all Belizeans.”

It goes on to say that, “We respect his right to that opinion, but find it to have no factual foundation.”
