New SPEAR Poll Predicts Outcome of General Election

SPEAR will release an opinion poll tomorrow and it's hot news from tonight because it seeks to predict the outcome of the general elections. Between Friday of last week and Monday of this week, SPEAR's pollsters asked 417 respondents by phone which party they would be voting for along with 5 other questions. And what's interesting is that the names of all the respondents were taken from the voter's lists - so they're all registered voters. So what are the findings? Well SPEAR's executive director Gus Perrera says he cannot discuss it until after he meets with his board tonight. The poll was co-sponsored by the Association of Concerned Belizeans and friends of SPEAR.
