The case for the Fort Street Tourism Village to keep up the wall just a little bit longer got that much weaker today. That’s because sitting judge of the Court of Appeal Manuel Sosa has reportedly recused himself from hearing the case. So now the attorney for Fort Street have to either wait for the Court of Appeal in June or try to get another Supreme Court judge to hear it.
Additionally, attorney for Brown Sugar and Harbor View Fred Lumour has reportedly initiated procedures to file contempt of court action against for street which has very slowly been moving to dismantle the wall. Tonight the wall stands, but smart money says it will come down before the end of this week.
