Noreen Fairweather has been making news as the Commissioner of Lands and was seen as one of the key movers in the Ministry trying to pick up the pieces after the pre-election whirlwind. But reliable reports to 7NEWS tonight says that Fairweather has been moved from that department. It’s been difficult to determine why at this point but reports say there may have been differences of opinion with higher-ups.
Our reports say she will be transferred to NEMO and someone from the Valuation Department may take over her senior post. She is the second very senior staffer to leave the Ministry of Natural Resources in the past few weeks as CEO David Gibson demitted office at the end of May.
