Denzil Challenges Melvin In Stann Creek West

And in other political convention news, 7news has confirmed that Denzil Jenkins, the Chairman of the Citrus Growers Association will challenge incumbent Melvin Hulse in the UDP's convention for that area.

Jenkins today told us his long record of service in the area make him ideally suited for the post.

No date has been set for that convention, but after losses in the village council elections, Hulse is considered by some to be vulnerable - a point with which we are assured, he would vociferously disagree.
