Briceno also spoke about the Leadership Debate that the Chamber of Commerce, LOVE FM and Galen University are trying to organize. The UDP Leader Patrick Faber yesterday indicated that he is willing to participate - once certain conditions are clarified.
Well, the Opposition Leader made to clear that he is not so willing until his party gets the terms of the debate very clear:
Hon. John Briceno - Leader of the Opposition "There's so many things that needs to be cleared up and in effect the chamber is saying, sign up and then we will tell you, it does not work like that. We need to know what we're getting into, we need to how this is going to happen, how this is going to be run, who is going to be the moderators, how much time you can talk, how can you rebut if somebody says something false or what is somebody is there say outright lies like you'll be able to stop the moderator, correct them, there are so many questions that's left to be answered, so we need to know more before we can decide."
The deadline to confirm for the debate is this Friday. We wouldn't break out the popcorn just yet.
